Calgary's rental market has become one of Canada's top 10 priciest, with a 12.8% increase in two-bedroom rental costs since last year. Rent for a two-bedroom apartment in Calgary is around $2,200, close to the national average of $2,349. One-bedroom rent also rose by 3.4% to $1,830. Calgary now ranks ninth, behind Kitchener and Kelowna. Vancouver remains the most expensive, with Toronto following closely. Edmonton is facing sharp rent increases and low vacancy rates.
