Calgary home sales slightly decreased in June 2024 due to supply challenges and rising prices. There were 2,738 sales, a 12.8% drop from the previous year. The residential benchmark price rose to $608,000, an 8.5% increase. Prices increased in all districts, notably in the northeast and east. New listings decreased by 3.6% to 3,798. Despite this, inventory levels rose compared to 2023, leading to a 25.2% increase in months of supply, favoring sellers.
